Please read the Terms of Use thoroughly before using our site. By using our site as either an advertiser or holiday maker, you indicate that you accept the Terms of Use. Please do not use our site if you do not agree to the Terms of Use.

About us

Our site is operated by Travelling Suitcase, trading as Travelling Suitcase Limited. We are registered in England and Wales under Company Number: 07018496, with our registered office 3 Caen Road, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 4PU, United Kingdom. We offer an advertising directory service for people who want to advertise their holiday homes and an accommodation service for holidaymakers. We have no involvement in the booking process or in facilitating transactions between advertiser and holidaymaker.

Advertising

We expect advertisers to advertise their properties truthfully and accurately. It is not Travelling Suitcases responsibility to confirm the accuracy of the listings of advertisers. We do not inspect properties and are not responsible for the quality or safety of any property advertised and are not responsible for any damage, loss of possession or incident experienced by a holidaymaker at a property. We do not own the properties and it is the advertisers’ responsibility to be eligible to rent the property and the responsibility of the holidaymaker to pay for rental.

All adverts published to Travelling Suitcase are subject to our approval. We reserve the right to review and amend the content of information, videos and photos supplied. If any content is deemed to be libellous, untruthful, offensive, discriminatory, or the intellectual property of another the content will be reviewed and if deemed inappropriate will be removed. Advertisers are responsible for the content of any advert submitted to the site.

Terminating an Advert

a) We reserve the right to terminate any advert which has received a substantiated number of complaints from our site users which shows that the advertiser has mislead holidaymakers with regards to the property, surrounds, facilities or wrongful behaviour by the advertiser itself. Advertisers will not receive a refund.

b) We reserve the right to refuse any advertising that we feel is not suitable to the content of our site.

c) We reserve the right to refuse any previous advertisers that have had an advert terminated.

d) An advertiser can remove their property from our site listing before their specified contract. Refunds will not be given.

Claims

Any contract for the rental of a property on our site is between holidaymaker and advertiser, Travelling Suitcase is in no way party to any contracts made. On this basis any claim or complaint against either advertiser or holidaymaker is strictly between the two parties and needs to be addressed directly and not through or against Travelling Suitcase.

Refunds

Refunds are at the discretion of the management.

Copyright

All database rights, trade marks and design rights on our site and in the material published on it belongs to us and our advertisers. Material may be downloaded from Travelling Suitcase for the purpose of using our site but you must not copy, modify, republish, transmit or link to any content or material contained on Travelling Suitcase without writing consent. However, it is permitted to share content using the sharing facilities offered on the site.

If you believe any of the information or material contained on Travelling Suitcase infringes upon your copyright please email enquiries@travellingsuitcase.co.uk detailing your claim.

Payments

No advertisements will be published onto our site without a valid method of payment:

  • If payment is made by credit or debit card the payment will be processed online using our provider Worldpay.

  • If paying by cheque, please make it payable to, Travelling Suitcase Limited, and send to, 3 Caen Road, Bedminster, Bristol, United Kingdom, BS3 4PU.

 

Advertisements can be booked on an annual basis only.

As of October 2012, no VAT is chargeable to advertisers, although we reserve the right to change this without such notice.

Contact

We ask that all of our advertisers are available via telephone and email for the duration of their advertising and should they be unavailable for longer than 1 (one) week, we ask that they set up standard messages on emails and voicemails to inform people you are currently not available. If you are not contactable for longer than 4 weeks, we reserve the right to suspend/terminate your advert.

Travelling Suitcase is not responsible for third party links to other sites and resources, these links are provided for your information only. Travelling Suitcase has no control over the contents of those sites, and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

Although preventative measures are taken Travelling Suitcase is not liable for any damage or loss caused by the deliberate misuse of the site or the distribution of viruses, adware or spyware that may infect your computer equipment and programs due to the use of Travelling Suitcase.

Changes to pricing and terms and conditions

We reserve the right to change or amend the terms and conditions at any time without notice. Price rates may also be changed without notice. Any new rates will be applicable immediately for new advertisements and for advertising renewals of existing advertisers. Notification of changes will be announced through the Latest News page.

Law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our site (although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms in your country of residence or any other relevant country).

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations concerning your use of our site. Each and every booking carried out on, or as a result of use of, the website is deemed to be completed within the United Kingdom and therefore shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
